How do I take the Siteimprove Accessibility training?

Per SiteFarm, starting in 2024, extensive new web accessibility training is required for content editors of UC Davis websites.

Here is how to take the accessibility training:

  1. Visit the UC Siteimprove portal
  2. Select University of California, Davis
  3. At the top right corner, click on the Help Center and training icon (the question mark in a circle)
  4. Go to Learning Hub
  5. Scroll down and go to Accessibility Fundamentals for the Web (aka Introduction to Web Accessibility)
    1. Or search for it within the Siteimprove Course Catalog.
  6. Click the Start button
  7. Note: if your course does not say Accessibility Fundamentals for the Web and is 1 hr, then try visiting the URL for the course
  8. Complete the 1 hour course as the required training for web accessibility
  9. Send ESP IT a copy of your certification of completion
