How do I find the name of my computer?

1. On any Windows computer, find the computer name (aka hostname) by using the keyboard shortcut, Windows key + Pause|Break.

2. A window for System Information will appear.
3. The computer name is listed under the section "Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings"

If you are using Windows 7, you can also:

1. Open System by clicking the Start button
    
2. Right-click on Computer
3. Click Properties
   
4. Your computer name will appear next to "Full computer name:"
   

If you are using Windows 10, you can also:

1. Open File Explorer to view your Documents
2. Click on This PC
3. Click on System Properties
   
4. Your computer name will appear next to "Full computer name:"
