How do I disable a Microsoft Word Add-in?

If a Word Add-in is causing issues, follow these steps to disable it in Office 2013:

1. Open any Word document (new or existing)
2. Go to File
   
3. Click on Options
   
4. Go to Add-ins
   
5. in the Manage section, select the Go button
   
6. Uncheck the appropriate Add-in box
   
7. Click OK
